What are D3 and K2?

This product is designed to support levels of vitamin D3 when taken short term. It is ideally used in conjunction with any of our multivitamin and mineral formulae. This product contains 6,000 IU of cholecalciferol and 125 µg of All-Trans Vitamin K2 (MK-7). Vitamin K2  derived from Natto works synergistically with Vitamin D. We need both in adequate amounts to ensure optimum biological activity of both vitamins. Therefore, if supplementing with Vitamin D, we need to also include sources of Vitamin K2 in our diets or take a supplement.

Should I Take D3 & K2?

As the skin ages, it becomes less efficient at converting rays from the sun into Vitamin D and a gradual loss of bone density can occur, leaving bones more vulnerable to breaks and fractures. Combined with Vitamin K2, this LIVITTÉ supplement allows for optimum biological activity. Although this essential nutrient is vital for many different functions in the body, it is most popularly taken to maintain strong bones and teeth. Vitamin D also helps to promote a healthy immune system and normal muscle function.

Those at particular risk of Vitamin D deficiency are children (under 5 years), the elderly (65 years +), people who rarely get outdoors (lack of sunshine) and people with dark skin.

INGREDIENTS: bulking agents (cellulose, dicalcium phosphate), anti-caking agents (magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide), cholecalciferol, menaquinone-7.

SUGGESTED USE: Take 1 tablet daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product is not a substitute for food.

CAUTIONS: Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store at room temperature and keep out of direct sunlight. Do not use if seal is broken. It is recommended not to use this product if you are pregnant, breast feeding, are under 18 years of age or if side effects occur.
